About Us

Bywell House Care Home

Bywell House is located in the charming seaside town of Worthing and is centrally located for shopping and other amenities; Worthing train station is just a 10 minute walk from the home.

The home is set in a mature and well cared for garden, which becomes the venue for summer parties and barbecues.

The home aims to offer a high standard of Residential Care Facilities for the elderly; in the process enhancing the quality of life for its service users. This is done by providing an environment which is safe, comfortable, congenial, hygienic and stimulating for the service users.

The home offers residents a person-centred (which is synonymous with quality care) care package, suited specifically for their individual needs. The care is focused on the client/resident, promoted their independence and autonomy; involves services that are reliable, flexible and chosen by the residents; and is offered by carers working in a collaborative/team philosophy with the residents.

Bywell House has a key worker system that enables the staff to develop a close relationship with each resident and awareness of each individual’s needs behaviour and past history. This allows them to enhance the level of care they provide for the service users. The care plans are outcome-based rather then task-based.
